The Last Alliance is here to prompt The Resurgence for a competitive match in MK's Capture The Flag (CTF). We find it most suitable to play in a game-mode having invariably-timed rounds and which has also been the classic platform for such events.

CTF does not seem like a good fit for us due to some reasons. RTV seems good to play a clan war, what do you think?

We are interested in knowing those reasons. Also, we proposed CTF after considering every other server including RTV as well,
and we chose the server for the following reasons:

• Timed rounds, so everyone can enjoy every bit of the match.
• Highly tactical and depends upon how strong a team can play together, along with the minimal impact of camping zones or spots so that both the teams can really put in their tactical prowess.
• RTV is dependent on the car and revolves around that concept, but we are here to enjoy pure DM and have fun with clanmates in a classic game-mode that has been the epitome of Clan Wars since VCMP 0.3.
• For any expected or anticipated lag issues, then it is to be noted that Newk did a rework on the CTF version, which took care of the issue as well.

Considering all of the above reasons and also the lack of interest of TLAs to play in RTV, we would like you guys to play us in CTF. If you have any obligations, then please specify them as its unclear to us why a clan with such individual talent is not up to play in CTF.
It is also to be noted that TLA doesn't have a problem playing in VCAD or KoTH (considering its availability), but it would be highly embarrasing if you want to negotiate towards any other option. Also, we would like to play in this week and avoid any delay in having a fun-packed match

Frankly speaking, it shows the lack of competence and leader inspiration in the RT clan wanting to try beyond RTV. You will only get more experience in other competitive game modes that will also help in your possible upcoming tournaments. As someone who admired RT the most as being one of the rising competitive clans of VCMP, it's disappointing to see this message now. Take this as a brotherly suggestion, not an offense.
We are ready to play in A/D and CTF which have been the pioneer of clan wars since the dawn of VCMP because of their balanced and competitive game modes (has been the popular choice in other multiplayer games as well). I enjoy playing RTV but I don't recall any historical clan wars happening in RTV which is a relatively new fun game mode.

When you're told there's a No from our side, it means a lot of things.

- Inactivity of the RT members, specially the ones who admire CTF/VCAD (vacation, abroad)
- Apathy towards playing in CTF/VCAD, no fun for them.

Our clan concentrates on the tactical game-play; not on kill-whoring. Acknowledged that VCAD is an option from your side but some of our active members either do not like it or have no interest in it, not ignoring the fact that most of them have never played it. About KoTH, it's dead and nowhere to be found otherwise we could've discussed about it with our mates.

It is not about 'trying beyond', it is about what we deem as a perfect fit for our clan war. I don't like writing long paragraphs to explain to you in detail about our choice, therefore the reply was pretty straight to the point. If it is a no from us, then it will remain so. There is something that we must have considered to be part of the reason, which I don't think is necessary to mention specifically and explain to you so you would go out and defend those servers and it will escalate causing a delay in the final decision. And we are already short of active members and those who ARE active want to play in RTV because it is a riveting game mode and not just kill and repeat. If you want pure DM so do we, but in addition to a strategic and tactical play. About A/D and CTF being the default choice for clan wars since the 'dawn' of VCMP, times have changed and new game modes have been developed. We appreciate you admiring RT as a competitive clan but binding our choices to our competitiveness seems dopey. If you cannot recall any wars happening in RTV then let's set the history. No offence taken here but this does not seem the case on the opposing side. And it was quite immoral on your side for one of your members to start something on our Discord server in public chat while we are already here discussing on forums. If you have something to talk about, please do so on our forums or in a personal chat with one of the clan leaders. Starting an uproar on our Discords is quite immoral and rude. Refer to Hazard's reply if you are really curious about knowing the reasons.

Let's just end this here and you give us a straight-forward reply if you are willing to make a compromise and play in RTV or we can halt this discussion if we cannot come to a single decision.

Lets discuss the timings now for the below improvised game-mode rules:

• 4 Random Bases, 8 Rounds - Each base must be picked from a total of 5 random bases picked by the server.
• Sets Restrictions - No two players selecting each of the RPG, Molotov, Chainsaw and Grenade set per team.
• Ping, FPS and Jitter - Server specific rules
• Disabled Wall-Glitching

TLA prefers the match to be played on weekends. We will be waiting for a positive reply, not an either/or anymore.

Sorry for the wait, we were discussing the timing and availability days, we took some time because of our CW manager being in-active due to the vacation.

Accepting your conditions, our team has agreed to play the clan-war on Friday, 16:30 GMT.

Please notice that the time we’ve suggested is the only possible time on which our clan members can play. Days can be compromised but Friday seems good for almost everyone from the clan except a few.
